As the passion for Gravel continues to gain momentum and Colnago has amazed us with its proposal dedicated to this growing niche. The Colnago G3x is designed specifically for gravel riding. This is not a Cyclocross frame, for that Colnago already has its famous Prestige model. The G3x retains ultimate comfort on unpaved terrain and you’ll be amazed at how fast and responsive it is. It has an optimized geometry for larger volume tires, a head tube angle and a reach designed for greater stability at high speeds. On the frame, the chain stay has dedicated rubber protection to prevent damage caused from the dreaded “chain slap”.

Also at the base of the down tube there’s an intelligent integrated protection, just where rubble and debris often leave their mark. This is also a frame designed for those who want to go on long adventures and it can comfortably mount up to 4 bottle cages.

Colnago G3-X is designed and built specifically for those who prefer less traveled roads and are lovers of adventure. Those who like to go far, but do not want to sacrifice performance and efficiency from a latest generation monocoque chassis with technology inherited from the V3-R.

BUMPER

Bottom bracket cover protection made by rubber. Equipped with a double screw (removable) it allows the anchoring of a third bottle cage if necessary.

FORK

Designed for a generous wheel clearance, possibility of mounting tires up to a maximum of 42 millimeters. The necessary space is also guaranteed for the discharge of mud on heavy terrains.

BRAKING SYSTEM

It is based on the use of disc brakes and the trough axle. The discs both measure 160 mm to provide the right braking power even with a fully loaded bicycle (bags, accessories).

CHAINSTAY

Replaceable right rubber sheath cover for safe cycling even on the most difficult dirt roads. The total protection of the frame is synonymous with safety.

SEATPOST CLOSURE

The system that blocks the seat post tube is completely integrated in the horizontal tube. Light and functional, it allows an excellent modulation of the tightening together with the ease of access to the screw head.
